… walking down the track to The Ley to put the pigeons up. It was so foggy that I couldn’t see to the other side of the field, let alone see the pigeons. Nothing stirred as I walked across the field so with luck the pigeons are feasting elsewhere this morning.

… selecting big Christmas trees for commercial customers.

… moving bales of hay to make room in the barn for Christmas trees.

… labelling bottles of Raspberry Gin ready for the stall at Blenheim Palace tomorrow

… into town to visit the bank. A gant is a narrow alleyway peculiar to Braintree.

And now I must send out invoices, not catch up with blog reading and writing.

    Hi Anne, I was just reading Mariana’s post at thrumykitchenwindow. She went on a drive on her farm and took some shots. It is amazing how different her photos are to yours. Two very different countries.
